Hi, I'm Mark, the founder of FlippinFunnels.

I've spent over 25 years working professionally with websites and web-based systems, mainly within education and training.

My background isn't in teaching, but in building the digital infrastructure that sits behind it. I've worked across colleges and training providers in Webmaster and Web Developer roles, where I built and maintained websites, developed custom web systems, and created eLearning resources and online courses used by staff and students.

Alongside that work, I regularly trained staff and delivered website creation courses to adult students.

What I've always enjoyed most is taking something that feels complicated and turning it into something practical, understandable and usable. That's an approach I've carried with me throughout my career and into my own online business.

From Websites to Online Business

After some unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a way to earn an income that allowed me to work at times that suited both myself and my family. Rather than starting completely from scratch, I decided to build on the skills and experience I'd developed over many years and move into running an online business.

My wife and I operate our online activities together as a business partnership. MJM Shiers Co is the umbrella for the different online projects and activities we work on, with each of us bringing our own skills and interests to the business.

While my wife focuses on her own aspects of the business, my role is primarily centred around the digital side - building the websites and sales funnels, creating digital products and courses, working with online platforms and software, and putting the systems behind an online business together.

I also work behind the scenes on some of our other projects, helping turn ideas and expertise into websites, funnels, video content, supporting resources and digital products.

FlippinFunnels is where I get to focus on the things I know and enjoy most.

Today, I work online creating and selling digital informational products, building sales funnels, websites, lessons and courses, and working with the various tools and systems that make an online business possible.

Over the years, I've worked with a wide range of software and platforms and have built systems for different types of online businesses.

I'm not here to tell you that building an online business is easy or that there's a magic formula for making money online. There isn't...

But there are useful tools, strategies and skills that can make the process easier to understand and put into practice.

I'll share what I know, what I've learned from doing it myself, and the tools and resources I believe are worth looking at.
